The ground staff terrified Kohli by blowing the horn of a super sopper. As Kohli was not part of the Asia Cup match against Bangladesh, it can be concluded that the clip was from an old Asia Cup 2023 fixture. The clip surfaced on the internet when Team India were playing their last Super Four game against Bangladesh in Colombo.

The video starts with Kohli standing on the side-line while looking at the Indian dugout. He was supposedly gearing up for fielding and was about to enter the ground. At that point in time, a groundsman was making a round of the field for an inspection. Kohli did not notice the groundsman, who stopped the vehicle quite close to the star Indian batter.
Kohli was clearly startled by the event. With a smile on his face, Kohli looked at the ground staff before clearing the way. Making the video more interesting, the social user added a background sound of a car horn just when the super sopper stopped. Fans, quite understandably, loved Kohli’s antics and the comments section reflected it.
